For 2013 the completely redesigned Nissan Pathfinder goes from a body-on-frame chassis to a unibody platform. Altima doesn't exist here!
been driving it a lot since i got it at 41,700 miles about 5 months ago. Definitely outlasted my old Ford Exploder, that thing was a POS.So what is the life expectancy of a pathfinder? With a big loan, was wondering if this thing will last a longtime?I have a 2013 Altima with about 150,000 miles. These things are technological marvels.Have a 2013 Versa with 52,440 on it. Nissan for the Thai market they didn't call it Maxima but Teana. I'm confident my PF will surpass 200k easily.Mines got 137k and engines strong. It still has the original starter, alternator, axles, u-joints, and timing chain. It’s the AWD w/CVT and the combination of performance, handling, etc.
My check engine just came on but I had it checked and it is my catalytic converter.
So far, it is tracking better for repairs and maintenance than my Honda Accord that has 380,000 miles on it. When you first buy a car, especially if you’re able to purchase one The life expectancy of vehicles has dramatically increased over the last 50 years. Dumped some cash but nothing unexpected. I get surprised that with all it’s gone through, it refuses to give up. Back then I couldn’t stand the look of the ‘standard’ Juke, but once at the dealership and the NISMO was parked right at the front doors it was a no brainer. The CVT has been flawless really, giving great acceleration, no hiccups/lag, that sort of thing. Took it to AAMCO and the guy fixed it for $1500 and it runs great.
Agency maintaned. 4 out of 5 stars. I've seen some 250,000 and others as high as 400,000. Did have to replace the factory battery not long ago, but it made it close to 7 yrs, so no complaints there. Just bought it a couple months ago. Will, of to the salvage yard we go , pulled a used Nissian fuel pump out of a Nissian Rouge that had tranny problems and abandoned. Have changed tires twice as the factory tires were high performance summer tires and only got 22K out of them.
