Please note that the localities shown may be serviced by either an Elgas branch, agent or distributor. The Mid-North Coast SD recorded the lowest proportion of working age population in the state, with 61.3% (182,200 people) in this age group. This map shows Mid-North Coast PEA.  The populations of Kempsey, Nambucca, and Mid Coast LGAs have high proportions of Aboriginal people (11.6%, 7.6%, and 6.2% respectively). Ryans Bus services run throughout Coffs Harbour City and run North to Woolgoolga on a regular basis.

The remainder of NSW's population was concentrated in the northern coastal SDs of Hunter (9.0% of the state), Mid-North Coast (4.3%) and Richmond-Tweed (3.4%), and Illawarra (6.0%) to the south of Sydney. These LGAs have low socio-economic indexes for areas (SEIFA) scores (4, 9, and 20 respectively).
