I don't know why, but I watched a clip where he was talking about this, and telling stories about his mom, and I thought it would be a story about his life and his mom. There are some mild laughs but the smugness of Noah becomes overbearing quickly, It doesn't help that the stories seem increasingly fabricated as the special progresses. Armed with boyish charm and a sharp wit, the former SNL writer offers sly takes on marriage, his beef with babies and the time he met Bill Clinton. Noah's South African roots and upbringing merge into his recent American experience making for funny and human juxtapositions and observations. I am highly disappointed and hope that he comes to his senses and his true identify again otherwise he will lose me as a fan forever.

I just sat there, in complete horror watching Trevor repeating a joke he's done countless in his previous stand-up work...why Trevor, why????? The only minor point to me is that there were some jokes that I heard before from his previous shows, funny jokes for sure, but I think every new show should consist out of complete new material, especially for his fans that watch every show of him. I watched the start and the first few jokes I had already seen in clips. Rotten Tomatoes, home of the Tomatometer, is the most trusted measurement of quality for Movies & TV. The taco one was sort of funny, abit. Had high expectations from the new Trevor Noah stand up special. I thought his jokes, mimics and accents were very funny and I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I understand the humour is different all around the world, but this is just not it. Trevor Noah's Netflix one hour standup special.
