Purchased in Aug, 2013 with 78K miles.

The only problem I have is issues with the 4 WD.

I did have one small issue in the early years but the warranty on the vehicle was more than adequate to address the issue. They are fun to drive very easy to park or turn around in tight spaces. It's highly versatile, back seat is removable allowing it to carry a fair amount of cargo.

Only has a 4 Banger with manual tyranny so under powered for the highway. I had a mechanic check everything out since it is 25 years old and he found nothing mechanically wrong. on Fri Jun 16 2006

The new Jeep JK’s come standard with ESC (Electronic Stability Control), and are extremely safe compared to older Wranglers that don’t come equipped with ESC. bad thing is the 2.5 litter in mine only thing i dont like. Mini Cooper S.

My major complaint would be the Toyota built five speed losses fifth gear all too often.I have put a ton of miles on my jeep but there are no signs of it slowing down. This would also be great for a first time driver as it is fun safe and NOT fast. I get the oil changed regularly w the air filter, keep good new tires on it, and it has been worry free for the most part all these years.

Also there is a huge aftermarket support, so parts for repairs or modifications are going to be very reasonably priced. does great in the mud, even 80 mph. Absolutely love this jeep, its so much fun to drive, not one issue in 3 years. from Customer Reviews. The Jeep rides high off the ground which is great in AZ when there is a flash rain during the summer.

I've upgraded steering and suspension, mild 2.75" lift. Anything more than a six hour drive and you are going to want to break it up with an hour long stop, other than that there is no downside to getting a Jeep Wrangler.
