Visit the Emmaville Mining Museum in the village of Emmaville or explore the designated fossicking areas within the Torrington State recreation Area. At the Yarrow Creek Bridge, less than 25km south east of Glen Innes, at Pinkett, you can fossick for topaz, garnet, zircon and sapphires.
